The Full Satisfaction of God

About Hisfaithalone

Habakkuk 2:2 And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. 3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. 4 Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.

These words come in the last book of the Old Testament. God through the prophet Habakkuk was showing how the Messiah would come. Though for a while He would tarry He would come at the appointed time. He would come and by HIS FAITH the just shall live. God was showing how life would come. It would come by His faith.

There are 2 divisions of religion in the world. There are those that tell mankind what they must do to be right with the higher power that they worship. There are all manner of conditions and works placed upon men to be accepted by the one they worship. The true gospel of Jesus Christ tells us that all of the doing was by Himself. Christ would come and by His faith, by all that is encompassed by His gospel, we are made alive. We live, we are made right with God by the works of Jesus Christ. The reason Christ Jesus was set forth before God was so that God would be able to make His chosen people acceptable in His sight. The book of Romans is the best laid out teaching that we have on this subject. It shows us the ends God would go to justify His people. This justification includes the removal of the guilt of sin and the imputation of righteousness to the chosen sinner of God. This study will not be exhaustive as I do not desire to overwhelm with words but will give more insight into the words of Paul in this fascinating teaching of how God has reconciled sinners to Himself in and by the death of His Son our Lord Jesus Christ.

What is different here than any other website that talks of God. I am not going to show you how to be saved. You will see that God has already performed the saving of His people. Scripture tells us of a coming savior in the Old Testament. The gospels Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John show us the life of that savior Jesus Christ. That savior who would save His people from their sins. The remainder of the New Testament gives us more detail into the salvation that He accomplished. I am here to tell you that it is finished. The trial is over. There is nothing you can do to add or to take away from what He has done. All who give any steps to be saved have missed the message. Salvation has come. God requires nothing of the sinner else it is not grace. By faith we rest in His salvation. It is a discussion of what occurred at the cross of Christ. He did not make salvation available or a mere possibility, He saved. For all who do not see this finished salvation I urge you to at least read the words contained here and search the scriptures. To the natural man these words may be offensive. It is in our nature to not rest in His completed work. We want to participate in our salvation. You cannot rest if you are participating. Rest in His faith alone.
